They were the first to build a house with electricity in the town, and also the owners for the first bank in Storm Lake. They were from England, they move to here. They also met important people like presidents, politics. They gave the lands for the churches that now are still there and is called church corner.Now the Harker family don't have descendents that can remember them but we have their house that now is part important of the Storm Lake's history.

4th day, History
In this day we went to 2 differents places, Historical Society Museum and Harker House. In the museum we learned a little bit about the U.S History that is interesting know how the people lived many years ago.We looked the history about the past and old pictures of important people, and how have had a change, on the dressed, buildings, tools, electronics, money, and others things.
